Homecoming 2008

Last weekend we had a BUSY weekend. It was Northwest Homecoming Parade & Game, "Annual Chili Eating," Family Pictures, and Lucas' Birthday party. Northwest won the football game -- I think it was 56-7?!

After the parade, we headed back to Gramma & Grandad's and ate and then headed to the ballgame.

More Yummy Food

Sammy really is enjoying his food. So far he has had: sweet potatoes, acorn squash, zucchini, and green beans. He started on carrots tonight! We are making his food ourselves -- wow, that is really cost efficient and pretty easy, too!

Sitting Up and Playing

Sammy is learning to sit up now. This was a couple of weekends ago, and he could sit up as long as one of us was nearby. He can sit up on his own even better now.

Monk Sockey

Sammy is going to be a sock monkey (or Monk Sockey as Cole called it) for Halloween. Here he is trying on his costume!

Fall Classic

Jeff & I went to the Fall Classic last weekend. We had fun and NW won!

Sweet Potatoes/Yams

Sammy got his first taste of a vegetable last night -- we made him some sweet potatoes/yams! He seemed to think they were quite yummy -- better than the cereals :)

Headed to the Parade

We had our fall festival last Saturday -- this was us heading up to the parade and once we got to the parade.

Here are pictures of Sammy's first experience with oatmeal and his high chair that's going to Grammy's house -- yes the chair only has one strap -- we bought it off craigslist and the previous owner had lost a strap, we ordered a replacement online :)

We finally found a hat yesterday so Sammy doesn't get anymore sunburns. We bought it a bit big, so it'd still fit next year (hopefully). He was already in his jammies when we decided to have him model it :)
