We had a family get together today and were able to use the pool. Once Sammy woke up, we decided to let him experience the pool. He wasn't too sure about it.

10 Weeks Old

Wow, can you believe that Sammy is already 10 weeks old. It seems like just yesterday I was blogging about how bored I was waiting for "Ernie" to get here! He is doing better sleeping at night -- granted we still have some "rough nights" here and there. He usually wakes up once between 11pm and 1am. Then he wakes up again between 4&5am. He tends to be more of a morning person. He's usually a pretty happy camper in the morning.

2 month Check-up

Sammy had his 2 month check-up today. He is doing really well. The doctor said to keep doing what we’re doing! He is now 13 lbs 8 oz; 22 ¾ inches long; and his head circumference is 16 inches. The doctor wondered if Sammy got one of my ears and one of Jeff’s – interesting, we’d never noticed a difference, but there is a little bit of a difference! He got his first round of vaccinations. He got one orally and then 5 shots. He now has his first bandaids! He did NOT like the shots, but was a trooper. He cried and then was asleep by the time we left the building.

Jeff rebuilt the handrail on our front steps. Now, grandparents can come visit, safely :)
