Riding the Animals

Here are some pictures of Cole riding all the "animals" at the Henry Doorly Zoo last weekend! :) Uncle Jon told him to put his hand up like he was riding a bull -- that explains why he looks like he's waving in most of the pictures!

We went to the Henry Doorly Zoo last weekend with Cole and the family. It was a fun trip! Here's some pictures of the animals:

One Step Closer!

We're getting closer to having our kitchen finished! This weekend we put the trim on the countertop. Then, we put up our backsplash tonight. It required some modifications to our light switches, but we got them to work. Now all we have left is to grout the backsplash, trim out the backsplash, and lay the floor! Then, it should be done! :D

Our latest Purchase

So, we made a new purchase from Lowe's today! I'll give you hints --

And we have a kitchen sink!

Jeff got the tiles grouted and the kitchen sink installed:

Kinda Finished Countertop

We got the tile put down on the countertop! :) We have to let it set for 2 days or so before we can grout! :) We're still thinking about what to do for the backsplash -- we're toying around with the idea of doing a mosaic backdrop with leftover tiles....not sure how it'd work though!? Hmm...keep thinking about that! :D

And finally, we got to see George Strait. This was the third time Cathy and I have seen George together!
